I am sorry it has taken me so long to get in touch with you, but as you know I was sick with caner for the second time.  Thanks for the info you sent me on that.  I was writing to let you know how perfectly my parents funeral went and how happy I was with everything.  Your help and services were great and I really appreciated everything you did for me!   The boat was very nice as were the captain and his mate.

Hi Donna,

The cruise went beautifully!  The inlet was a little choppy, but they did an excellent job taking us out for an unforgettable, touching, “Eternal Cruise” for my Mom & Dad.

The sun was “lighting the way” out the inlet as it was coming up over the Atlantic, and there was a strong breeze.  I believe there were 15 of us on board. The captain even gave us the coordinates for their final resting place.

I am so pleased, as were the rest of the family members that went on the cruise, that I’d like to share a few pictures with you.  Hope you don’t mind!

Thank you, again, for all the help you provided, and your friendship via email!  I would highly recommend that anyone contemplating this type of service contact you, it was more than AWESOME.

I can't express just how fulfilling, how satisfying this closure has been.  A real sense of peace has filled a very empty spot in my heart.

Donna,
I just went online to contact you.  It was truly awesome and I thank you for all of your assistance.  We had a repast at Laguna Grill, a really nice restaurant on the beach at Brigantine.  Full length windows and great food.  Then we were off  to the boat.  I didn't know what to expect ahead of time but it turned out to be a real experience.  We got tossed about a bit and laughed our heads off a whole lot.  It became almost solemn as we dispensed the ashes but we got thrown about and knocked into each other and laughed some more.  We said a prayer and our goodbyes with love and I truly felt like we were setting them free and that we had made them both very happy.   I really love the both of them and never realized before how much better this is than the usual funeral.   Minutes after we dispensed the ashes and 18 red roses the sun set just beautifully right on the water where we had just been.  We had a little lightening and when we got back to the dock we just made it to our cars when it started to thunder and rain heavily.  We actually had just made it into our cars.  It was a pretty remarkable experience and then a full moon popped out.  A spiritual and touching event as well as a true celebration of two people I dearly love.

Many thanks to you, Captain Gus, and his shipmate for making one of the most difficult times in our lives a memorable experience. The sea scattering service you provided for my mother was carried out with honor and dignity, and Captain Gus went above and beyond, spending the majority of his day on the bay waiting for the right time to fulfill our needs. I intend to recommend Sea Services to anyone who might be interested. There is only one opportunity to say good-bye to a loved one the "right" way, and we certainly made the perfect choice.  Thank you so much for your help in doing so.

Dear Donna,
I just wanted to thank you again for your help in arranging our memorial for my uncle.  The suggested readings, some of which I used, were very helpful.  Also, the disposable canister was easy to use and transport.  We were also very lucky with the weather--that was the day of the tornadoes in Queens, but we returned well before the weather turned bad.

The crew could not have been nicer or more accommodating and they helped us to have a truly lovely and meaningful experience as we distributed my uncle's ashes at sea.

It will be my pleasure to recommend Sea Services.

Just wanted to let you know, everything went wonderfully on Sat in Monterey. There ended up 16 of us plus two newborn babies (our great grandsons).  And not one person got sick.
